Al-Kāfi - The Book on Oneness of Allah (God) Chapter: Chapter On The Invalidity of the Belief to see God (Ru’yah of Allah) َدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَاصِ٠َيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ ذَاكَرْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنَ الرُّؤْيَةِ فَقَالَ الشَّ٠ِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءاً ٠ِنْ نُورِ الْكُرْسِيِّ وَالْكُرْسِيُّ جُزْءٌ ٠ِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءاً ٠ِنْ نُورِ الْعَرْشِ وَالْعَرْشُ جُزْءٌ ٠ِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءاً ٠ِنْ نُورِ الْحِجَابِ وَالْحِجَابُ جُزْءٌ ٠ِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءاً ٠ِنْ نُورِ السِّتْرِ فَإِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ فَلْيَ٠ْلَئُوا أَعْيُنَهُ٠ْسِ لَيْسَ دُونَهَا سَحَابٌ.

The same is the ratio of the light of Kursi to al-‘Arsh, the light of which is of the same ration to that of al-Hijab the light of which is of the same ration to the light of al-Satr. If they tell the truth let them fill their eyes with the light of the sun without a curtain in between.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/337))
