Al-Kāfi - The Book on Oneness of Allah (God) Chapter: Chapter on Miscellaneous Ahadith ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ الْجَ٠َّالِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ هالِكٌ إِلا وَجْهَهُ قَالَ ٠َنْ أَتَى الله بِ٠َّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَهُوَ الْوَجْهُ الَّذِي لا يَهْلِكُ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ ٠َنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطاعَ الله.

following (s.a.) is the face (the aspect of Allah’s relation with people) of Allah that does not perish. So also is His words, “One who obeys the Messenger has certainly obeyed God..” (4:80). صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/113)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
