Al-Kāfi - The Book on Oneness of Allah (God) Chapter: Predestination, Fate and the Middle Road in Between الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ حَ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله قَالَ ٠َ أَنَّ الله يَأْ٠ُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ فَقَدْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله وَ٠َ أَنَّ الْخَيْرَ وَالشَّرَّ إِلَيْهِ فَقَدْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله.

Husayn ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from Abu Basir from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), who said: “Whoever thinks that Allah orders people to commit sins has ascribed lies to Allah and whoever thinks that good and evil are from Allah has ascribed lies to Allah.” (See also Hadith No. 6 below). يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/183))
