Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Issue that the Earth at no time is without a Person with Divine Authority 5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠ُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠) قَالَ قَالَ إِنَّ الله لَ٠ْ يَدَعِ الارْضَ بِغَيْرِ عَالِ٠ٍ وَلَوْ لا ذَلِكَ لَ٠ْ يُعْرَفِ الْحَقُّ ٠5.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from ibn Muskan from Abu Basir from one of them (a.s.), who said: “Allah does not leave the earth without a ‘Alim (scholar). Without this the truth would not be distinguished from falsehood.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/296)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
