Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Issue that even if only two people would remain on earth one of them would certainly be the Imam, the person with divine authority َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الطَّيَّارِ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ لَوْ لَ٠ْ يَبْقَ فِي الارْضِ إِلا اثْنَانِ لَكَانَ أَحَدُهُ٠1.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ibn al-Tayyar who has said the following. “I heard abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) saying, ‘Would there remain no one on earth except two persons one of them would certainly be the person with Divine authority.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/298)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
