Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The obligation to obey the Imams (a.s.) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَآتَيْناهُ٠اً قَالَ الطَّاعَةُ الْ٠4.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from some of our people, from Abu Ja’far (a.s.) regarding the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, “We gave them a great kingdom” (4:54): it means the obedience that is obligatory.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/325))
