Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Holy Quran guides people to the Imam (a.s.) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَنْ قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنا ٠َّا تَرَكَ الْوالِدانِ وَالاقْرَبُونَ وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْ٠َا عَنَى بِذَلِكَ الائِ٠ْ عَقَدَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَيْ٠1.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ’Isa from al-Hasan ibn Mahbub who has said, "I asked abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) about the saying of Allah, the Most Majestic and Most Exalted: “We have chosen heirs for every legacy that parents and relatives may leave. Let those who have been promised a bequest receive their share of the legacy...”" (4:33) He (a.s) said: It is a reference to the Imams (peace be upon them).
