Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Imams (a.s.) are the Mines of Knowledge, the Tree of Prophet-hood and the Centers wherein angels Interchange َّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بن الحسين (عَلَيْه٠ِنَّا فَنَحْنُ وَالله شَجَرَةُ النُّبُوَّةِ وَبَيْتُ الرَّحْ٠1.

Ahmad ibn Mahran has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ali from several people from Hammad ibn ’Isa from Rib‘i ibn ‘Abdallah (a.s.) from ibn Jarud who has said that Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said the following. “What is it obscures us to people?

(People do not maintain hostility towards us.) We, I swear by Allah, are the tree of the prophet-hood, the house of blessings, the mine of knowledge and the center wherein angels interchange.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/3)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
