Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Would the Imams (a.s.) like to know they would know َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عِ٠ُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَ٠ْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْ٠َدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ الْ٠َدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ الا٠َ شَيْئاً أَعْلَ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Umrah ibn Musa from Musa ibn Ja‘far from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id al-Mada’ini from abu ‘Ubayda al-Mada’ini from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. “When the Imam (a.s.) would will to know something Allah will grant him such knowledge.” جهول أيضا - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/119)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
