Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Issue of Disappearance (of the twelfth Imam (a.s.) from Public Sight 18ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِلْقَائِ٠ِ غَيْبَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُو٠َ إِنَّهُ يَخَافُ وَأَوْ٠َأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى بَطْنِهِ يَعْنِي الْقَتْلَ.

The Imam (a.s.) pointed to his midsection, meaning thereby being murdered.” وثق كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (4/52)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
