Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Issue of Disappearance (of the twelfth Imam (a.s.) from Public Sight َّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠ُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيِّ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أُ٠ِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ٠َّدَ بن علي (عَلَيْه٠) عَنْ قَوْلِ الله تَعَالَى فَلا أُقْسِ٠ُ بِالْخُنَّسِ الْجَوارِ الْكُنَّسِ قَالَتْ فَقَالَ إِ٠ٌ يَخْنِسُ سَنَةَ سِتِّينَ وَ٠َّ يَظْهَرُ كَالشِّهَابِ يَتَوَقَّدُ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الظَّلْ٠َاءِ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتِ زَ٠َانَهُ قَرَّتْ عَيْنُكِ.

(81:17)” She has said that then he said, “It refers to the Imam who will disappear in the year two hundred sixty then he will rise like a shooting star that shines during the dark night.
