Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The case of those who would claim to be the Imam but is not qualified, the case of those who would reject all or some of the Imams and the case of those who argue in support of one who is not a qualified Imam.

3ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠ْهُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَيَوْ٠َةِ تَرَى الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى الله قَالَ كُلُّ ٠ٍ قُلْتُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فَاطِ٠ِيّاً عَلَوِيّاً قَالَ وَإِنْ كَانَ فَاطِ٠ِيّاً عَلَوِيّاً.

He said, “Itrefers to whoever would claim to be the Imam and, in fact, is not the Imam.” I then asked, “Even if he would a descendant of Fatima and Ali (a.s.)?” He said, “Yes, even if he would a descendant of Fatima and Ali (a.s.).” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (4/192))
