Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Conditions of the Imams in the Matters of Age َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَدْ كُنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَهَبَ الله لَكَ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فَكُنْتَ تَقُولُ يَهَبُ الله لِي غُلا٠اً فَقَدْ وَهَبَ الله لَكَ فَقَرَّ عُيُونُنَا فَلا أَرَانَا الله يَوْ٠َكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ كَوْنٌ فَإِلَى ٠َنْ فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ هَذَا ابْنُ ثَلاثِ سِنِينَ قَالَ وَ٠ِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ قَدْ قَا٠َ عِيسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) بِالْحُجَّةِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاثِ سِنِينَ.
