Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Enlightening Points Deduced from the Holy Quran about Leadership with Divine Authority) 75ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ ٠ِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَ٠َلُكَ قَالَ يَعْنِي إِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ فِي الْوَلايَةِ غَيْرَهُ بَلِ الله فَاعْبُدْ وَكُنْ ٠ِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ يَعْنِي بَلِ الله فَاعْبُدْ بِالطَّاعَةِ وَكُنْ ٠ِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ أَنْ عَضَدْتُكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَابْنِ عَ٠75.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Hakam ibn al-Buhlul from a man frm abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most High. ““It has been revealed to you and to those who lived before you that if you consider other things equal to God, your deeds will be made devoid of all virtue..” (39:65). The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means equal in Wilaya.” “(Muhammad), You must worship God alone and give Him thanks.” (39:66).

The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means worship Allah through obedience and be thankful if I provided you support through your brother, your cousin.”
