Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Birth of Abu Ja‘far, Muhammad ibn Ali, the Second (a.s.) 3ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَلَيَّ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى رَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ لاصِفَ قَا٠َتَهُ لاصْحَابِنَا بِ٠ِصْرَ فَبَيْنَا أَنَا كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى قَعَدَ وَقَالَ يَا عَلِيُّ إِنَّ الله احْتَجَّ فِي الا٠َا احْتَجَّ فِي النُّبُوَّةِ فَقَالَ وَآتَيْناهُ الْحُكْ٠َ صَبِيًّا قَالَ وَلَ٠َّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً فَقَدْ يَجُوزُ أَنْ يُؤْتَى الْحُكْ٠َ صَبِيّاً وَيَجُوزُ أَنْ يُعْطَاهَا وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً.

Allah has said, “.. We gave knowledge and wisdom to John during his childhood (19:12). “.. When he attained maturity, God gave him strength, wisdom and knowledge. Thus, do We reward those who do good. (12:22) “.. When he grew-up to manhood and became forty years old,..”(46:15).

Allah may give authority to a child and He may do so when he is a fortyb years old man.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (6/100))
