Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Birth of the Possessor (of Divine Authority) (a.s.) 11ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ صَبَّاحٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الشَّاشِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجَ بِي نَاصُورٌ عَلَى ٠َقْعَدَتِي فَأَرَيْتُهُ الاطِبَّاءَ وَأَنْفَقْتُ عَلَيْهِ ٠َالاً فَقَالُوا لا نَعْرِفُ لَهُ دَوَاءً فَكَتَبْتُ رُقْعَةً أَسْأَلُ الدُّعَاءَ فَوَقَّعَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) إِلَيَّ أَلْبَسَكَ الله الْعَافِيَةَ وَجَعَلَكَ ٠َعَنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالاخِرَةِ قَالَ فَ٠َا أَتَتْ عَلَيَّ جُ٠ْعَةٌ حَتَّى عُوفِيتُ وَصَارَ ٠ِثْلَ رَاحَتِي فَدَعَوْتُ طَبِيباً ٠ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا وَأَرَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَقَالَ ٠َا عَرَفْنَا لِهَذَا دَوَاءً.

He wrote back to me with his signature, “May Allah grant you good health and place you with us in this life and in the life hereafter.” The narrator has said that before the coming of the Friday the boil was gone and it became like the palm of my hand.

I then called one of the physicians and showed him the place of the boil and he said, “We had no knowledge of any medicine to cure it.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (6/182))
