Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: The Fay’, al-Anfal, al-Khums, its rules and the properties subject to al-Khums ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠َّدٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَ٠ُوتُ لا وَارِثَ لَهُ وَلا ٠َوْلَى قَالَ هُوَ ٠ِنْ أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الايَةِ يَسْئَلُونَكَ عَنِ الانْفالِ.

About a man who dies without a heir the Imam (a.s.) said, “To him this verse applies, ‘They (the believers) ask you (Muhammad) about the booty captured (from the enemies) during a war..” (8:1) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (6/278)) صحيح - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi (62/ 1))
