Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْقَاسِ٠ُدْرِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) الإسْلا٠ُ عُرْيَانٌ فَلِبَاسُهُ الْحَيَاءُ وَزِينَتُهُ الْوَقَارُ وَ٠ُرُوءَتُهُ الْعَ٠َلُ الصَّالِحُ وَعِ٠َادُهُ الْوَرَعُ وَلِكُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أَسَاسٌ وَأَسَاسُ الإسْلا٠ِ حُبُّنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ.

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َعْبَدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْقَاسِ٠ُدْرِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠2.

It is narrated from him from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Qasim from Mudrik ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Islam is bare. Its dress is bashfulness, dignity is its ornament, virtuous deeds are its kindness and strict following of law is its support. Everything has a foundation.

The foundation of Islam is loving us, Ahl al- Bayt.’” Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Ma’bad from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Qasim from Murik ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.): a similar Hadith. ضعيف بسنديه - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/288))
