Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Superiority of Belief over Islam and Certainty over Belief َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ حُ٠ْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ إِنَّ الله فَضَّلَ الإي٠َانَ عَلَى الإسْلا٠َا فَضَّلَ الْكَعْبَةَ عَلَى الْ٠َسْجِدِ الْحَرَا٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Ri’ab from Humran ibn ‘A’Yun who has said the following: “I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying, ‘Allah has given superiority to belief over Islam by one degree just as He has given superiority to al-Ka’ba over the Sacred Mosque.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/326))
