It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from âUthman ibn âIsa from Ishaq ibn âAmmar and others from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.) has said, âDo not allow their prayers or fasts mislead you. A man may develop an attachment to praying or fasting so much so that without it he may feel frightened.
Try them how truthful they are in their words or how reliable they are in returning the trust.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (8/181))
