Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: The Believer’s Mutual Brotherhood 7ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ٠َةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْ٠ِنِ لأبِيهِ وَأُ٠ِّهِ لأنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلَقَ الْ٠ِنْ طِينَةِ الْجِنَانِ وَأَجْرَى فِي صُوَرِهِ٠ِنْ رِيحِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلِذَلِكَ هُ٠ْ إِخْوَةٌ لأبٍ وَأُ٠7.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from al-Husayn ibn al-Hassan from Muhammad ibn ‘Uramah from certain individuals of his people from Muhammad ibn al- Husayn from Muhammad ibn Fudayl from abu Hamza who has said the following: “I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) say, ‘The believer is the brother (in belief) of the believer from his father and mother; Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has created believers from the clay of paradise and has made the fragrance of paradise flow in their forms; thus, they are brothers from father and mother.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/15))
