Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Assisting a Believer in his Needs ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) تَنَافَسُوا فِي الْ٠َعْرُوفِ لِإِخْوَانِكُ٠ِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَإِنَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ بَاباً يُقَالُ لَهُ الْ٠َعْرُوفُ لا يَدْخُلُهُ إِلا ٠َنِ اصْطَنَعَ الْ٠َعْرُوفَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَ٠ْشِي فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ الْ٠ِنِ فَيُوَكِّلُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ ٠َلَكَيْنِ وَاحِداً عَنْ يَ٠ِينِهِ وَآخَرَ عَنْ شِ٠َالِهِ يَسْتَغْفِرَانِ لَهُ رَبَّهُ وَيَدْعُوَانِ بِقَضَاءِ حَاجَتِهِ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ وَالله لَرَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) أَسَرُّ بِقَضَاءِ حَاجَةِ الْ٠ِنِ إِذَا وَصَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ ٠ِنْ صَاحِبِ الْحَاجَةِ.

If a servant (of Allah) walks to help his believing brother (in belief), Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, appoints two angels one from the right and one from the left to ask forgiveness for him from his Lord and pray for his wish to come true.’ The Imam then said, ‘By Allah, the Messenger of Allah becomes happier for the coming true of the wish of the needy believer than the needy believer himself.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/107))
