Salih ibn âAqabah has narrated from âAbd Allah ibn Muhammad and Yazid ibn âAbd al-Malik from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âWhoever feeds an affluent believer it is equal to setting free a slave from the descendents of Ismaâil and rescuing him from slaughter.
Whoever feeds a needy believer, it is equal in reward for him to set free one hundred slaves from the descendents of Ismaâil and rescue them from being slaughtered.â ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/131))
