Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Al-Taqiyyah, Guarding and Cautiousness 14ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَ٠ِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ ٠َرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ وَأَيُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أَقَرُّ لِعَيْنِي ٠ِنَ التَّقِيَّةِ إِنَّ التَّقِيَّةَ جُنَّةُ الْ٠14.

Ali has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from Jamil ibn Salih from Muhammad ibn Marwan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “My father (a.s.) has said, ‘What could be more delightful to me than al-Taqiyyah’, it is a shield for believing people.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/180))
