Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: A Believer’s Signs and Qualities 16ـ وَبِهَذَا الإسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) الْ٠ِثْلِ شَجَرَةٍ لا يَتَحَاتُّ وَرَقُهَا فِي شِتَاءٍ وَلا صَيْفٍ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ الله وَ٠َا هِيَ قَالَ النَّخْلَةُ. 16.

Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated from the Messenger of Allah who has said the following: “A believer is like the tree whose leaves do not fall off in summer or in winter. They asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what tree is it?’ He said, ‘It is the palm-tree.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/244))
