Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: The Severity of the Trial of a Believer 19ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ نُعَيْ٠ٍ الصَّحَّافِ عَنْ ذَرِيحٍ الْ٠ُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيهِ٠) يَقُولُ إِنِّي لأكْرَهُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُعَافَى فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلا يُصِيبَهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ ٠19.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Husayn ibn Nu’aiim al-Sahhaf from Dhurayh al-Muharibi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said, ‘I do not like a person’s (total freedom from) suffering in the world from misfortunes.’” حسن كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/336))
