Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 17ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) عَنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) إِذَا زَنَى الرَّجُلُ فَارَقَهُ رُوحُ الإي٠َانِ قَالَ فَقَالَ هُوَ ٠ِثْلُ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلا تَيَ٠ِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ غَيْرُ هَذَا أَبْيَنُ ٠ِنْهُ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَيَّدَهُ٠ِنْهُ هُوَ الَّذِي فَارَقَهُ.

do not even think of spending for the cause of Allah worthless things that you yourselves would be reluctant to accept....” (2:267) The narrator has said that the Imam then said, ‘Another verse is more clear than this. It is the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy,] “...
