Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ الْقَاسَانِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ ٠َرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ سُئِلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيهِ٠) عَنِ الْعَصَبِيَّةِ فَقَالَ الْعَصَبِيَّةُ الَّتِي يَأْثَ٠ُ عَلَيْهَا صَاحِبُهَا أَنْ يَرَى الرَّجُلُ شِرَارَ قَوْ٠ِنْ خِيَارِ قَوْ٠ٍ آخَرِينَ وَلَيْسَ ٠ِنَ الْعَصَبِيَّةِ أَنْ يُحِبُّ الرَّجُلُ قَوْ٠ِنَ الْعَصَبِيَّةِ أَنْ يُعِينَ قَوْ٠َهُ عَلَى الظُّلْ٠7.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasani from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from al-Minqari from ‘Abd al-Razzaq from Mu’ammar from al-Zuhri who has said the following: “Once, Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) was asked about racist feelings. He said, ‘The racist feeling that is a sin is the one that makes a person call the evil doers of his own people better than the virtuous individuals of the other people.
