Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ فِي جَهَنَّ٠َ لَوَادِياً لِلْ٠ُتَكَبِّرِينَ يُقَالُ لَهُ سَقَرُ شَكَا إِلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ شِدَّةَ حَرِّهِ وَسَأَلَهُ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَنَفَّسَ فَتَنَفَّسَ فَأَحْرَقَ جَهَنَّ٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ibn Bukayr from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: ‘‘In hell there is a valley for the arrogant people and it is called ‘Saqar’. It complained to Allah of excessive heat and asked Him to allow it to breathe. When it took a breath, it burnt (all of) hell.” وثق كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (10/210))
