Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief 4ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ الْكَذِبَ هُوَ خَرَابُ الإي٠4.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from those whom has mentioned (in his book) from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from abu Layla’ from his father from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘Lying is the destruction ofbelief.”’ ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (10/329))
