Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: One Who Causes Suffering to Muslims and Belittles Them ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ هِشَا٠ُعَلَّى بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) قَالَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ نَابَذَنِي ٠َنْ أَذَلَّ عَبْدِيَ الْ٠6.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from Hisham ibn Salim from Mu’alla ibn Khunays from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has said, ‘To cause suffering to My believing servant is certainly a declaration of animosity against Me.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/381))
