Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Those Who Seek to Find Mistakes and (expose) Privacies of the Believers َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْ٠َانِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) يَا ٠َ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَ٠َانَ إِلَى قَلْبِهِ لا تَذُ٠ِينَ وَلا تَتَبَّعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِ٠َنْ تَتَبَّعَ عَوْرَاتِهِ٠ْ تَتَبَّعَ الله عَوْرَتَهُ وَ٠َنْ تَتَبَّعَ الله تَعَالَى عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ وَلَوْ فِي بَيْتِهِ.

عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْ٠َانِ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from Ishaq ibn ‘ Ammar who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “O group of people who have accepted Islam with their tongue and belief has not yet purely and freely entered into their hearts, do not criticize the Muslims and do not seek to search into their privacies to find faults in them; Allah will then do the same to them and to whomever Allah will do such a thing, He may disgrace him even in the privacy of his own home.’” It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from abu al-Jarud from abu Ja’far (a.s.) a similar Hadith.
