Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: The Feeble-minded People 2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠ِيلٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ُسْتَضْعَفُونَ الَّذِينَ لا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً وَلا يَهْتَدُونَ سَبِيلاً قَالَ لا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً إِلَى الإي٠َانِ وَلا يَكْفُرُونَ الصِّبْيَانُ وَأَشْبَاهُ عُقُولِ الصِّبْيَانِ ٠ِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ.

The Imam said, ‘They are not able to find the means to belief and they do not disbelieve, like children and those who are of children’s mental condition, male and female.’” حسن كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (11/209))
