Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn âImran ibn al- Hajjaj al-Subayâi (from Muhammad ibn Walid) from Yunus ibn Yaâqub who has said the following: âI heard Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) saying, âIf one commits a sin and knows that Allah is aware of it. He punishes him if He so wills or forgives him if He so wills. In such case.
He (Allah) forgives him even if he does not ask forgiveness.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (11/284))
