Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief Chapter: Confessing Sins and Regret for it 5ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠ْرَانَ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّبِيعِيِّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ وَلِيدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ٠َنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْباً فَعَلِ٠ُطَّلِعٌ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ غَفَرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ لَ٠5.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Imran ibn al- Hajjaj al-Subay’i (from Muhammad ibn Walid) from Yunus ibn Ya’qub who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘If one commits a sin and knows that Allah is aware of it. He punishes him if He so wills or forgives him if He so wills. In such case.
