It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hisham ibn Salim from certain individuals of his people from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âWhen the day comes it says, âO son of Adam do good deeds this day so I may bear witness to it to testify (in your support) before your Lord on the Day of Judgment.
I had not come to you before and will not come to you in future.â When the night comes it speaks likewise.ââ رس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/365))
