8.A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Jaâfar ibn Muhammad al-Ashâari from ibn al-Qaddah from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âAmir al-Muâminin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, âThe most beloved of deeds before Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, on earth is pleading before Him for help and the best worship is chastity.â The Imam said, âAmir al-Muâminin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) was a very prayerful man.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/9))
