A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washshaâ from abu al-Hassan (a.s.) who has said the following: âAli ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said, âPrayer and pleading before Allah for help, repels the misfortune that has already come down and that which has not yet come down.ââ Ø´ÙÙØ± - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (12/14))
