It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Mansur al-Sayqal who has said the following: âOnce I asked Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) âIs it possible that at one time a man supplicates and it is accepted and then is delayed for a period of time?â The narrator has said that the Imam then said, âYes, it can happen.â I then asked, âWhy is that?
Is it because so he will increase his supplication and pleading?â The Imam said, âYes, that is right.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (12/82))
