Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Asking Favors from Allah for the Holy Prophet, Muhammad and his Family, recipient of divine supreme covenant َدَ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله بْنِ عَبْدِ الله الدِّهْقَانِ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠َعْنَى قَوْلِهِ وَذَكَرَ اسْ٠َ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى قُلْتُ كُلَّ٠َ فَصَلَّى فَقَالَ لِي لَقَدْ كَلَّفَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هَذَا شَطَطاً فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ فَكَيْفَ هُوَ فَقَالَ كُلَّ٠َ رَبِّهِ صَلَّى عَلَى ٠18.

remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him.” (87:15) I said, ‘Whenever he remembered the name of his Lord, he stood up and prayed.’ The Imam said to me, ‘If so, Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, had burdened him heavily, but this is going beyond limits.’ 1 then said, ‘May Allah keep my soul in service for your cause, how is it then?’ The Imam said, ‘Whenever he remembered the name of his Lord, he asked from Allah al-Salat (favors) for the Holy Prophet and his family.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/103))
