Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: The Necessary Mention of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, in Every Gathering ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَلَفِ بْنِ حَ٠َّادٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْجَارُودِ الْهُذَلِيِّ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِعُ فِيهِ أَبْرَارٌ وَفُجَّارٌ فَيَقُو٠ُونَ عَلَى غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلا كَانَ حَسْرَةً عَلَيْهِ٠1.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from Khalaf ibn Hammad from Rib’I ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Jarud al-Hudhalli from al-Fudayl ibnYasar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘If any gathering attended by virtuous and non-virtuous people disperses without mentioning the name of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, it (gathering) will become a regret for them on the Day of Judgment.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/119))
