Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Praying for Brothers (in Belief) in Their Absence َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ دُعَاءُ الْ٠َرْءِ لأخِيهِ بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ يُدِرُّ الرِّزْقَ وَيَدْفَعُ الْ٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “A man’s prayer for his brother (in belief) in his absence increases his sustenance and repulses misfortune.” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/166))
