Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: The Word in the Morning and Evening 27ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْجَهْ٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠ِثْلَهُ إِلا أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَقُولُهَا ثَلاثَ ٠َرَّاتٍ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ وَثَلاثَ ٠َرَّاتٍ حِينَ يُ٠ْ يَخَفْ شَيْطَاناً وَلا سُلْطَاناً وَلا بَرَصاً وَلا جُذَا٠َرَّاتٍ قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) وَأَنَا أَقُولُهَا ٠27.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Faddal from al- Hassan ibn al-Jahm from abu al-Hassan (a.s.) a similar Hadith except that the Imam said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘One should say them (expressions in Hadith 25) three times in the morning and three times in the evening and should not then fear any Satan, ruler, leprosy,’ he did not say seven times.

Abu al-Hassan (a.s.) has said, ‘I, however, say them one hundred times.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/277))
