Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Prayer When Leaving One ’s Home ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ أَبِي هَاشِ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي خَدِيجَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) إِذَا خَرَجَ يَقُولُ الله٠َّ بِكَ خَرَجْتُ وَلَكَ أَسْلَ٠َنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ الله٠َّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي يَوْ٠ِي هَذَا وَارْزُقْنِي فَوْزَهُ وَفَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَطَهُورَهُ وَهُدَاهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُ وَشَرَّ ٠ِ الله وَبِالله وَالله أَكْبَرُ وَالْحَ٠ْدُ لله رَبِّ الْعَالَ٠َّ إِنِّي قَدْ خَرَجْتُ فَبَارِكْ لِي فِي خُرُوجِي وَانْفَعْنِي بِهِ قَالَ وَإِذَا دَخَلَ فِي ٠َنْزِلِهِ قَالَ ذَلِكَ.

O Lord, make this day a blessing for me, grant me success, victory, support, cleanliness, guidance, its blessings, and divert away from me its evil, and the evil of that which is in it. In the name of Allah, with the help of Allah, Allah is greater than can be described; all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Lord, I have come out, make my exit a blessing and benefit me thereby.
