Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Supplications for Sustenance 11ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِي٠َ (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) دُعَاءً فِي الرِّزْقِ يَا الله يَا الله يَا الله أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ ٠َنْ حَقُّهُ عَلَيْكَ عَظِي٠ٌ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى ٠َّدٍ وَأَنْ تَرْزُقَنِيَ الْعَ٠َعْرِفَةِ حَقِّكَ وَأَنْ تَبْسُطَ عَلَيَّ ٠11.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from abu Ibrahim (a.s.) who, about prayer for sustenance, has said the following: “O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, I plead before Y ou through those whose right before You is great.

Grant al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad and his family, confer upon me to act according to what You have instructed me of the knowledge of Your right and expand for me the constraint in Your sustenance.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/407))
