Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Supplications for Healing Ailments and Diseases َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠) قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ عَلَى ٠َرِيضٍ فَقُلْ أُعِيذُكَ بِالله الْعَظِي٠ِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِي٠ِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عِرْقٍ نَفَّارٍ وَ٠ِنْ شَرِّ حَرِّ النَّارِ سَبْعَ ٠12.

Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn abu Najran from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurara from one of the two Imams (a.s.) who has said the following: “When you visit a patient say, ‘I seek protection for you from Allah, the Great Lord of the great Throne against the evil of every swelling vein and the evil of the heat of fire,’ seven times.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/433))
