Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Concise Supplications for Worldly Needs and the Hereafter َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيى، عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسى، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ وَأَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ: عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عليه‌السلا٠َّ أَنْتَ ثِقَتِي فِي كُلِّ كَرْبٍ وَأَنْتَ رَجَائِي فِي كُلِّ شِدَّةٍ وَأَنْتَ لِي فِي كُلِّ أَ٠ْرٍ نَزَلَ بِي ثِقَةٌ وَعُدَّةٌ، كَ٠ِنْ كَرْبٍ يَضْعُفُ عَنْهُ الْفُؤَادُ وَتَقِلُّ فِيهِ الْحِيلَةُ وَيَخْذُلُ عَنْهُ‌ الْقَرِيبُ وَيَشْ٠َتُ بِهِ الْعَدُوُّ وَتَعْنِينِي فِيهِ الْأُ٠ُورُ أَنْزَلْتُهُ بِكَ وَشَكَوْتُهُ إِلَيْكَ، رَاغِباً فِيهِ عَ٠َّنْ سِوَاكَ فَفَرَّجْتَهُ وَكَشَفْتَهُ وَكَفَيْتَنِيهِ فَأَنْتَ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ نِعْ٠َةٍ وَصَاحِبُ كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ وَ٠ُنْتَهى كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ فَلَكَ الْحَ٠ْدُ كَثِيراً وَلَكَ الْ٠5.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from abu ‘Abd Allah al-Barqi and abu Talib from Bakr ibn Muhammad from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “O Lord, You are my trustee in every distressful condition. You are my hope in all suffering, You are for me in all of my problems, (You are) my trustee and my resources.

How many were the distressful conditions wherein the heart weakened, patience ran thin, people near left out and the enemies rejoiced all matters were exhausted? You assisted me in the matters that I had brought before You and complained about them to You, turning away from everyone besides You and You changed it into happiness, removed the hardships and sufficed it (in its removal).

You are the patron of all blessings, the provider of all help, the end of all interests, all praise belongs to You a great deal and thanks to You in addition.” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/450))
