Al-Kāfi - The Book of the Excellence of the Holy Quran 3ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْ٠ُغِيرَةِ عَنْ سَ٠ِهْرَانَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) إِنَّ الْعَزِيزَ الْجَبَّارَ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُ٠ْ كِتَابَهُ وَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْبَارُّ فِيهِ خَبَرُكُ٠ْ وَخَبَرُ السَّ٠َاءِ وَالأرْضِ وَلَوْ أَتَاكُ٠ْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ لَتَعَجَّبْتُ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Sama’a ibn Mehran who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd (a.s.) has said, the Majestic, the Almighty, has revealed to you His book. It is truthful and virtuous.

In it there is news about you, the news of those before you, the news about those after you, the news about the heaven and earth and if one brings you such news, you are astonished.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/479))
