Al-Kāfi - The Book of the Excellence of the Holy Quran Chapter: The Excellence of the Carriers of the Holy Quran ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَ٠ِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ الْحَافِظُ لِلْقُرْآنِ الْعَا٠َعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَا٠2.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Sahl ibn Ziyad, all from ibn Mahbub, from Jamil ibn Salih, from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: ‘‘One who has memorized the Holy Quran and acts upon it will be with the honorable and righteous angels.” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/485))
