Al-Kāfi - The Book of the Excellence of the Holy Quran Chapter: Reciting the Holy Quran 1ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ الْقُرْآنُ عَهْدُ الله إِلَى خَلْقِهِ فَقَدْ يَنْبَغِي لِلْ٠ِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ فِي عَهْدِهِ وَأَنْ يَقْرَأَ ٠ِنْهُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْ٠1.

Ali has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Abi ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Holy Quran is a covenant of Allah with His creatures. A Muslim must look at his covenant and read fifty verses every day.” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/493))
