Abu Ali al-Ashâari has narrated from Muhammad ibn âAbd al-Jabbar from al- Hajjal from Ali ibn Yaâqub al-Hashimi from Harun ibn Muslim from âUbayd ibn Zurara who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.) has said, âNever befriend an idiotic person; the more delightful you may become from his side the closer it will get to your misfortune.ââ Ø³Ùت عÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (12/536))
